29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets. Jobsite - On or about December 29, 2022, an employee was exposed to struck by hazards from falling construction tools and debris where siding operations were occurring above and a hard hat was not worn for protection. Bermejo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544598, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 7, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1357 Washington St. in East Bridgewater, MA 02333. Bermejo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1435133, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 12, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 32 Cummins Highway in Roslindale, MA 02131.
