29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Location: 1 Princeton Road, Burlington, MA On or about 12/22/22, employees were not adequately protected against falls of 6-feet or greater above a lower level in the following instances: Instance a) An employee handing plywood out of second story window to employee on an elevated work was not provided any means of fall protection; Instance b) An employee working from elevated working platform had no means of fall protection on or available while performing framing work near the second story window. John B. Gioiosa Construction, Inc dba JBG Construction, Inc, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1518277, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/23/21, with respect to a workplace located at Terrace Hall Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803.
