29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about November 30, 2022, at 475 West California, Sebring OH 44672, the employer failed to ensure employees operating the Linear Lathe on the production floor were protected from coming into contact with the unguarded chain and sprockets during operations. Salem-Republic Rubber Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1910.219(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1597689, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on October 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 475 West California, Sebring OH 44672.
