29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: On or about November 29, 2022, Employees were exposed to to fall hazards in excess of 15 feet height while performing masonry construction activities from a metal frame scaffold. No fall protection was being utilized. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Universal Masonry Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1453999, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 9, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 28 Sheffield Ln. Oakbrook, IL 60521. Universal Masonry Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1346301, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 605 Jefferson St. Naperville, IL 60540.
