29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) 401 Ogletown Road, Newark DE 19711(Re-shipper Area): On or about November 29, 2022, and at times prior thereto, impediments to the exit routes, created by placed packages, mobile bins, and palletized packages that blocked the exit paths, were not minimized exposing employees to trip hazards and a delayed egress in the event of an emergency. a) 401 Ogletown Road, Newark DE 19711(Door #4/Cage): On or about November 29, 2022, and at times prior thereto, impediments to the exit routes, created by placed packages, mobile bins, and palletized packages that blocked the exit paths, were not minimized exposing employees to trip hazards and a delayed egress in the event of an emergency. The U. S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1442354, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (8-9-2021), with respect to a workplace located at 3649 Evergreen Parkway EVERGREEN, CO 80439. The U. S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1297911, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on May 11, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 751 Palisades Avenue in Teaneck, New Jersey.
