29 CFR 1910.217(b)(12): All pressure vessels used in conjunction with power presses did not conform to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code for Pressure Vessels, 1968 Edition: Ref. 1968 ASME BPVC, Section VII, UG-115, UG-116 and UG-125 Press Room: On, or about, November 4, 2022, the tanks provided on the following mechanical power presses were not compliant with ASME requirements: A. Press #46, Bliss. The air tank provided on the back of the press was not provided with a pressure relief valve. B. Press #24, Bliss. The air tank provided on the side of the press was not provided with an ASME stamp/identification plate and was not equipped with a pressure relief valve. C. Press #53, Niagara. A pressure relief valve was not provided on the lower air tank mounted on the rear of the press.
