29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairways or ladders were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided: a- 32, 34, 36 Staton Road, Mount Holly NJ: Workers, walking and working from the top plates of wall frames, interior scaffolds, the top of floor trusses, etc. were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 10 feet to the floor below when accessing a residential structures second floor walking/working surfaces using the diagonal and vertical wall braces of the wall frames. b - 32, 34, 36 Staton Road, Mount Holly NJ: Workers performing framing, floor truss placement and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 9 feet 5 inches to the concrete floor below when accessing and egressing a residential structure second floor unprotected floor openings to/from the concrete floor below using diagonal and vertical wall braces of wall frames. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
