29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Jobsite located at 913 N 26th St, Philadelphia PA: The employer failed to ensure employees were using a fall protection system while performing hand demolition from a second story floor structure with unprotected sides and edges at potential fall heights of 11 feet above the next lower level. Condition noted on June 22, 2022. RLC Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561543, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5-23-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3729-31 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. RLC Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1440532, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5-15-2020 with respect to a workplace located at 625 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
