This was most recently documented on or about June 3, 2022 at a jobsite located at 1810 Red Orchard Way, Liberty, Missouri. The employer failed to ensure exposed employees were protected from eye impact hazards by the use of safety glasses when operating saws and/or nail guns without eye protection Dereck Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1522871, citation number 2, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 7-9-21, with respect to a workplace located at 18100 Westgate, Bucyrus, KS 66013.
