29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles: a) Jobsite located at - 330 Carson St., Philadelphia, PA - The employer did not ensure that employees utilized eye protection at the jobsite while performing framing activities with compressed air pneumatic powered nailer, thus exposing them to struck-by hazards. Observed on or about April 22, 2022. Max Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1539720, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 14 Coliseum Drive, EASTAMPTON, NJ 08060.
