29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Facility: On or about 3/9/2022, employees did not receive training on hazardous chemical in the work area including, but not limited to, 95% sodium hydroxide, fluorescein green, silica, and ethylene glycol. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. THE ENGINEERED PRECISION CASTING COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 1910.1200(h)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 924632 CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 7, ISSUED ON 1/10/2014.
