29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) Parade Street, Mechanicsburg, PA - Employees performed residential framing work and installing plywood on the back roof of the home with a 14 in 12 pitch, approximately 12 feet above grade without utilizing a proper fall protection system, on or about February 23, 2022. (b) Parade Street, Mechanicsburg, PA - The employees performed residential framing work and installing plywood on the front of the home above the living room roof with a 6 in 12 pitch, approximately 12 feet above grade without utilizing a proper fall protection system, on or about February 23, 2022. (c) Parade Street, Mechanicsburg, PA - The employees performed residential framing work and installing plywood on the front of the home above the living room roof with a 6 in 12 pitch adjacent to an opening for a future skylight, approximately 12 feet above grade without utilizing a proper fall protection system, on or about February 23, 2022. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
