29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. a. On or about July 23, 2021, at the battery room area, employees were exposed to struck by and fire hazards caused by an exit route temporarily obstructed with an out of service Toyota electric tow truck. NOTE 1: U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1511147, Citation # 1, item #2, and was affirmed as a final order on 03/11/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Calle Cecilio Urbina, Guaynabo, PR 00969. NOTE 2: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
