29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i): Means were not provided to guard against accidental injury to personnel at conveyor transfer, loading, or discharge point(s). (a) Edger Tail Conveyor - On or about June 3, 2021 the employer did not guard the belt and tail end drum of the conveyor, exposing employees to a caught-in hazard. (b) Edger Tail Conveyor - On or about June 3, 2021 the employer did not install an emergency stop on the conveyor, exposing employees to a caught-in hazard. The Winona Hardwood, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1382004, citation number 01, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/29/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 164 Sawyer Loop Winona, MS 38967.
