29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about April 26, 2021, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 24 feet while performing roofing activities on a residential home located at 9662 Diamond Ridge Cr., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614. The employees were working on all areas of the roof and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection. Miller Roofing & Exteriors Limited was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFE 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443504, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/3/19, with respect to a workplace located at 2383 15th Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
