29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. CSHO observed on two previous days 04/09/21 & 04/10/21 continued instances of employees engaged in both framing and sheathing activities in which employees were exposed to fall hazards of 16 & 18ft to the ground below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized: a- 26 Durante Road, Wyckoff NJ : An employee engaged in framing activities on an unprotected framed edge was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 16ft to the ground below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition noted on or about 04/09/2021 b- 26 Durante Road, Wyckoff NJ : Employees engaged in sheathing activities on a 4 on 12 pitched roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18ft to the concrete below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized.
