29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not required to wear appropriate goggles, to protect them from the rays when noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields were not used: At the Large Pole Area, employee(s) engaged in manufacturing activities were exposed to radiant energy or light radiation in that welding screens were not provided to adjacent employee(s). Valmont Utility was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.252(b)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1373736, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on March 18, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 11308 Highway 36 P.O. Box 640, Bellville, Texas 77418.
