29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) Exterior of Building - Roof: Employees were exposed to approximately 20 feet fall hazard while utilizing an extension ladder that only extend approximately 6 inches over the working surface, on or about 10/7/20. JR Complete Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1302716, citation number 01, item number 2A and was affirmed as a final order on 4/27/18, with respect to a workplace located at 37 Mather Ave., Groton CT.
