29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (a) On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior, the employer had not developed a written hazard communication program documenting the chemical inventory, container labeling, safety data sheets, and training. In the work place employees encounter many chemicals including but not limited to, vehicle undercoat hardener (carcinogen; skin sensitizer and irritant; flammable; acute toxicity when inhaled), paint thinner (serious eye irritation, skin irritation), solvent cleaner (skin corrosion, serious eye damage; acute toxicity when inhaled), gasoline (flammable; carcinogen; target organs are the liver, kidneys, bladder, blood, bone marrow, nervous system), and motor oil (skin irritant; carcinogen; can cause dizziness and drowsiness; motor oil will burn) Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
