29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level: location: scaffold above North staging area, 240 E. 172 St. Bronx NY on or about: 3/5/20 a) Employees were unloading construction debris from a tubular welded frame scaffold. The employees, who were not provided with fall protection, were exposed to a fall of 72 feet. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19. The Universal Construction Resources Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1090439, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/7/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 161 Continental Place, Building 19, Statan Island, NY, 10303.
