29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: Stock Room: On or about February 28, 2020, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while working in the stock room where boxes of merchandise were not stacked securely to prevent sliding and/or from falling on employees in the following locations: Instances: a) The rear wall of the stock room. b) The stock room entry corridor. c) The store side wall of the stock room in front of the emergency exit/ receiving door. d) The Helium storage wall and the adjacent area in the stock room. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1269761, citation number 1, item number 2a issued on June 14, 2018, and was affirmed as a final order on September 7, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1155 S. Havana Street, Unit 23, Aurora, CO 80012.
