29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Meat Processing Room/Band Saw Area/ Line 3: Employees that operated the Hollymatic Hi Yield 16-500 band saw machine were exposed to an unguarded band saw blade at the point of operation, on or about 5/7/19. b) Meat Processing Room/Band Saw Area/ Line 3: Employees that operated the Hollymatic Hi Yield 16-500 band saw machine were exposed to an unguarded band saw blade at the point of operation, on or about 5/7/19. c) Meat Processing Room/Band Saw Area/ Line 5: Employees that operated the Hobart meat band saw machine #5801 were exposed to an unguarded band saw blade at the point of operation, on or about 5/7/19. Thomas Foods International was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1314502, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/21/18, with respect to a workplace located at 2600 Oldsman Creek Road, Swedesboro, NJ 08085. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
