29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about April 5, 2019, the employer failed to ensure an employee was protected from a fall from height of approximately 10.6 feet at a residential job site. The employee was removing the old gutters of a home and replacing them with new. There was no fall protection or arrest system in place at the time. NOTE: The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1055759, citation 1, item 1b, which was affirmed as final order on June 6, 2015, with respect to the workplace located at 1816 35th Street, Lorain OH.
