29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer shall provide training so that all employees whose work is regulated by this section acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this section. a) On or about February 4, 2019 the employer did not ensure that employees entering spaces, such as but not limited to, furnaces (GT and ARG Bender) and Washers (EPBL) to perform work had received training on permit-required confined spaces. Fuyao Glass America, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1213350, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on November 29, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2801 West Stroop Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439.
