29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: Location: 546 Bay St. Taunton, MA 02780 On or about November 26, 2018 employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than 20 feet to the ground below, where ladders were not extended 3 feet above the upper landing surface being accessed. GUAMAN GENERAL SERVICES, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1127288, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 5/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 219 Elm St. Braintree, MA.
