29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i): Pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings were not provided with covers approved for the purpose: On or about October 25, 2018, the following electrical boxes had cover plates that were not effectively closed. a. The 120 volt electrical control panel for the diverter operator at the 808 drop packer line was not secured. The control box was wrapped closed with temporary tape. b. The 240 volt electrical box for the belt motor that was mounted on the wall at the 808 drop packer line was not secured closed. The two cover fasteners were not secured in place. c. The 120 volt electrical solenoid wiring for the pneumatic valve of the diverter section was missing a cover plate. MALCO PRODUCTS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVELENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION 1247712, CITATION 1, ITEM 5 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 361 FAIRVIEW AVE. BARBERTON, OHIO 44203.
