29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work areas: a) Sun Mountain, Inc. at 140 Commerce Road, Berthoud, Colorado: The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and therefore did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work areas. 200 proof denatured alcohol, used as a solvent, was not listed in the employer's SDS index and was not among the SDSs kept by the employer. 200 proof denatured alcohol is highly flammable. This condition exposed employees to chemical and fire hazards.
