29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Facility located at 360 Lambs Road, Sewell, New Jersey, Warehouse/Production C Bay: The AccurShear was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from placing their hands in the danger zone, on or about 10/5/2018. EAST COAST STEEL, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1264724 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 14 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 1/9/2018, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 360 LAMBS ROAD, NEW JERSEY, 08080 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
