29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i): Lockout or tagout devices were not affixed to each energy isolating device by authorized employees: (a) Sawmill, canter/chip and saw (CNS) line; On or about September 13, 2018, lockout devices were not used to isolate hazardous energy sources while blocked photo eyes were cleared on the canter/chip and saw (CNS) line. The Biewer-Wisconsin Sawmill, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1238126, citation number 1, item number 1c and was affirmed as a final order on November 28, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 400 Red Pine Court, Prentice, WI 54556.
