29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): as referenced in 1926.103: The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: The employer is failing to protect employees from respiratory hazards associated with respirable crystalline crystalline silica exposure in that the employer did not provided basic advisory information on respirators to ensure proper usage, storage and disposal of the masks that were being used by employees. This was most recently documented on or about August 15, 2018 at a worksite located at 916 S. Thompson Avenue, Sedalia, Missouri. The employer failed to train the employees on proper usage of the respirators as referenced in appendix D.
