29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes. a) Mixing Room of building one: On or about August 7, 2018, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that impervious gloves were not provided for employees mixing chemicals, such as but not limited to, AlbaChem PSR, pentane, Zeofree 5162, and Methylal Pure Grade. Dixon Investments d.b.a. ARI, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1064288, citation number 01, item number 05b and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2523 S. McDonough Road, Orchard Hill, Georgia.
