29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about June 02, 2018, at 7125 NW 6th Avenue, Miami Florida, the employer failed to assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while employees walked near Powered Industrial Trucks, operated stone slab cutting and polishing machines, used hand-held electric and pneumatic tools, and pneumatic cleaning hoses, without the use of PPE such as head, face, eye, feet, and extremities, thus exposing employees to struck and crushing hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
