29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a- 370 & 372 Ocean Avenue, Lakewood NJ: Company worksite workers, not using head protection, were exposed to struck by injuries when performing exterior sheathing installation and other related activities while working beneath and next to other company workers performing sheathing installation activities above and next to them. Condition observed on or about 04/18/18. GMG Brito Contractors, LLC. and its subsidiary was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1198162, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/17/17, with respect to a workplace located at 13 Plateau Road, Fort Lee NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
