29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Yard - On April 5, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the Sessco crane pendant control was free from recognized hazards. in that the pendant control had a damaged cord. In accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
