29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a - Block 72, Lot 7.09, 419 - 2nd Street, Lakewood NJ: Company worksite employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below, when walking/working from pitched roofs of a residential structure while wearing full body harnesses and or body belts with no lanyards attached to them and an anchor point or when not using any fall protection. These condition were observed on or about 02/05/18. Giant Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this Occupational Safety & Health Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1258354, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was confirmed as a final order on 12/01/18, with respect to a workplace located at 67 West Street, Spring Valley NY. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WIHT 29 CFR 1903.19.
