Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Jobsite: The employer did not provide fall protection training to employees on top of a roof engaging in roofing activities; thus exposing them to approximately 35 foot fall hazards. Condition was noted on or about 31 JAN 2018. Alexandro Da Silva DBA Deca Construction. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1020151, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 28 AUG 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1001 South 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA. 19146.
