29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) Worksite was located at 235 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 Employees were observed doing layout work and setting decking around unprotected reinforcing steel exposing themselves to possible impalement. Violation was observed on or about December 8th, 2017 and December 11th, 2017. Industrial Urban Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.701(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 901775, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 1000 Avenue of Port Imperial, Weehawken, NJ.
