29 CFR 1910.134(d)(3)(iii)(B)(2): The employer did not include in its written respiratory program, a change schedule, to ensure that respirator canisters and cartridges were changed before the end of their service life: (a) Funeral Home - The employer's written respiratory protection program did not contain a cartridge change schedule for its embalmers to follow in their use of a tight-fitting 3M 6300 model half-face respirator with organic cartridges, on or about January 10, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
