29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about December 1, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling while working without fall protection from steep pitched roof surfaces having a ground to eave height of approximately 23 feet. AAA Better Roof, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 986372, citation 2, item 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2014, with respect to a worksite located at 3516 Regent Drive, Hoffmann Estates, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
