29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5): Scaffold platforms shall not be bridged one to another. On or about October 23, 2017, at the worksite located 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri, employee(s) for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC were observed installing siding on a newly built two-story residence from a ladder jack scaffold approximately 12 feet from the ground below. The ladder jack scaffold was constructed of four ladders and three platforms. The platforms were bridged one to another on the two center ladders. Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229579, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 01, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at with respect to a workplace located at 503 Pecan Bluffs Court, Wentzville, MO 63385.
