29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation (a) Site: In the production area, Small Erema, 5 Otis Street, Westborough, MA 01581 in mid-November 2017 and at times earlier, machine operators serviced the Small Erema Machine by performing tasks such as, but not limited to, clearing jams without having received required training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation. (b) Site: In the facility production area, Line 11, 5 Otis Street, Westborough, MA 01581 on 2/12/2018 and at times earlier machine operators serviced the Automatic Scrap Regrinder (ASR) by performing tasks such as, but not limited to, setting up for color changes without having received required training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation. Inteplast Group Limited was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.147(c)(7)(I)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 976716, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/20/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 455 Somerset Avenue, North Dighton, MA 02764.
