29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(iii)(B): Additional retraining shall also be conducted whenever a periodic inspection under paragraph (c)(6) of this section reveals, or whenever the employer has reason to believe that there are deviations from or inadequacies in the employee's knowledge or use of the energy control procedures. WORKSHOP: The employees, as authorized, affected, and/or other types were not provided with re-training and information in the controlling of potentially hazardous and unexpected releases of energy sources (lo/to) since the incident happened on/or about August 30, 2017 whereby an employee sustained amputations to the tips of fingers while performing cleaning tanks on the Line 1 machine. Electric Cable Compound, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(iii)(B), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 964208, Citation Number 1 and Item Number 1c, issued on 05-06-2014, with a final order date of 05-29-2014 , with respect to a workplace location at 108 Rado Drive, Naugatuck, CT.
