29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings regarding the chemicals contained therein: The employer does not ensure that a small containers used at the facility are properly labeled or marked to indicate the contents and hazards. This violation was observed on or about April 26, 2017 in department 2153 at the facility, exposing employees coming contact with unknown chemicals. Valmont Industries, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 980465, citation number 1, item number 7, and was affirmed as a final order on November 4, 2014, with a final abatement date of December 2, 2014, with respect to a workplace hazard at 28800 IDA Street Valley, Nebraska 68064.
