29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Worksite - On or about April 14, 2017, employees were exposed to fall hazards when working on a 6 on 12 pitched roof approximately 14 feet in height from ground to eave of roof without fall protection. Witz Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013507, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/23/15, with respect to a workplace located at 435 Laurel St, Lee, MA 01238. Witz Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 647238, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/24/13, with respect to a workplace located at 401 Canada St, Lake George, NY 12845.
