29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about April 4, 2017 and times prior thereto, at the facility, the employer did not ensure that eyewash stations did not pose a hazard for employees who may be partly blinded by handling corrosive materials including epoxy primers: 1) At Building 4, the eyewash station was obstructed by a metal container, which prevents employee's ability to reach and use the eyewash and/or body drenching equipment within 10 seconds. 2) At Building 1 and 4, the eyewash station nozzles were not protected with airtight covers, to prevent airborne contamination. 3) At Building 1, the eyewash provided was not free from dust accumulation.
