29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es): a. On or about March 17, 2017, employees were operating the P64B Punch Press in the Pail Press Department and the opening in the point of operation guard was greater than three inches wide, thereby exposing employees to amputation hazards. BWAY Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1051410, citation number 1 item number 7 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/08/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1601 Valdosta Highwaybox 336, Homerville GA 31634.
