29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source: a) Debone department - On or about 3/2/2017 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fire hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that exit signs were illuminated by a reliable light source. Repeat - Other-than-Serious Citation: Koch Foods, Inc. was previously cited for a serious violation of the same occupational safety and health standard and hazard of 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection # 1170354, Citation #1, Item #1 and was affirmed as final on 10/26/2016, which respect to a workplace located at 1115 W. Fulton Street, Chicago, IL 60607.
