29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator(s) and other employees in the machine area from hazard(s) such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At 3883 Delor Street, St. Louis, MO 63116, specifically inside of the Tool & Die Shop, the Mattison Rotary Grinder, m/n 24, s/n 24-342, was inadequately guarded. This violation was observed on 02/13/17. At 3883 Delor Street, St. Louis, MO 63116, on 02/13/17, specifically inside of the 100 Department, the 13 stock holders belonging to the following shears were inadequately guarded: a/ Cincinnati Shear, m/n 25. b/ Cincinnati Shear, m/n 14. GMP Metal Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 963518, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 05/13/14, with respect to a workplace located at 3883 Delor Street, St. Louis, MO 63116.
