29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a) Production Area; On or about February 1, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that the employer failed to provide training to authorized and affected employees to ensure that the employees understood the purpose and the function of the Company's energy control procedures. Flexstar Packaging, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1090761, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1902 Kimberly Park Dr., Dalton, Georgia 30720.
