29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: (a) Sales floor: On or about October 13, 2016 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while withdrawing cylinder content from and working in and around four unsecured helium bottles. (b) Sales floor: On or about October 13, 2016 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while withdrawing cylinder content from and working in and around one helium bottle missing the valve protection cap while not connected to a regulator or manifold. (c) Storage room: On or about October 13, 2016 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while stacking freight in and around approximately five unsecured helium bottles. DOLLAR TREE STORES INC., WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 951864 CIITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 09, 2015, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2704 BROOKS STREET #A, MISSOULA, MT 59801.
